Public Access Radio and Television Broadcast: Media Application and Training
AfrobeatRadio Inc.’s Media Application and Training Program provides hands-on training in television and radio production, talk show hosting, archiving, and ethical AI in media. Designed to equip youth, seniors, and community-based organizations with both technical and creative skills, the program fosters career readiness, media literacy, and the amplification of community voices.
Community Cultural Resource
AfrobeatRadio aims to be a community cultural resource, providing local community programming and interactive spaces for dynamic cultural exchange. We offer workshops and training in content creation and distribution, addressing youth anti-violence and providing alternatives to gun violence and crime. Our goal is to reach young people through workshops and training programs that incorporate career exposure, on-the-job training, mentoring, and hands-on experiences. We aim to motivate at-risk and disadvantaged youth, providing them with practical skills in producing and distributing radio and TV news magazines, documentaries, and other educational and entertainment programs.
Library and Archives
AfrobeatRadio maintains a public index of published content, including a music library, podcasts, texts, and multimedia, accessible through our website. We are committed to preserving and maintaining these valuable resources.
Events
AfrobeatRadio organizes and promotes community events, including discussions, panels, music concerts, festivals, and film screenings. Since 2014, we have curated social events that foster cultural exchange. We plan to continue these efforts, offering live streams or recordings to reach audiences globally.
