Jimmy Cliff passed on November 24, 2025, at age 81. The Government of Jamaica accorded him an official funeral on December 17, 2025, with a national tribute delivered by Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness, recognizing his immense contribution to Jamaican culture and entertainment.
