Ogun is the lord of war and agriculture. He is the orisha that creates iron for both work and war. He opens new paths for his people and bravery is his motto. This piece highlights the energy of the orisha’s achievements.

Who is Sergio Soares?

Sérgio Soares is a sculptor and visual artist from Salvador da Bahia,Brazil. Sérgio is inspired by his personal relationships with the orishas, particularly his tutelary diety, Ochoosi. His work has been exhibited in major galleries in Brazil. His work is also on exhibit as part of the permanent collection in the Museu Afro-Brasil, in São Paulo.
